In Spanish
This section of the journal, dedicated to Latin American thought, is comprised of preeminent texts composed in Spanish. The selections located herein cohere around the task of theorizing the clinic, and true to form, this assemblage of texts sustains the journal’s heterodox position within psychoanalysis. Attending to transformations in the social field and more specifically how such changes come to bear on the elaboration of a clinical theory and praxis, the writings in this collection traverse the terrain of contemporary philosophy, politics, art, and beyond. It is hoped that the words found here will serve to cut through conceptual frontiers, clearing ways forward, and furthering the work of articulating psychoanalysis anew.
In Italian
This section of the journal publishes mainly texts in Italian, sometimes in other languages. It is edited by the Institute Elvio Fachinelli, and by its president, Sergio Benvenuto. Some papers are simply Italian versions of the same papers published in the English section, others are papers only in Italian especially devoted to Italian debates, topics and concerns. Since its inception, the papers in this section address not only psychoanalysis and clinical practice, but also philosophy, politics, art and literature, when these fields can be enriched by contributions inspired by psychoanalytic practice and theory.
This Italian side of EJP includes a News section, which provides information about Institute Elvio Fachinelli activities and events which our members participate in. It also informs readers about publications by members of the Institute Elvio Fachinelli.
Texts submitted from outside EJP and Institute Elvio Fachinelli are chosen for publication through a rigorous peer review process.
